Dan Carr is a Vice President at Pegasus Asset Management, where he is responsible for business development across the platform.
Prior to joining Pegasus Asset Management in 2023, Mr. Carr held various leadership positions at WeWork, a global provider of flexible office solutions. Most recently, Mr. Carr served as Vice President, Head of Leasing for the Southwestern United States – where he led a team of 30 individuals responsible for portfolio performance and leasing activity across the region – spanning 65 WeWork locations and over four million square feet. During this time, Mr. Carr also worked closely with executive leadership for the company to exit challenged locations and improve the portfolio’s cost structure. Mr. Carr initially joined WeWork in 2017, leading financial planning for the Company’s New York City market – its’ largest market globally – before transitioning to help build WeWork’s real estate advisory function in 2018, where he structured some of the Company’s largest and most complex enterprise lease agreements. In 2020, Mr. Carr moved over to WeWork’s newly formed leasing team in a sales leadership role overseeing Southern California, where he served until 2022 when he was promoted to Vice President.
Prior to joining WeWork, Mr. Carr worked as an Associate at Solebury Capital, an equity capital markets advisory firm serving some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated Private Equity firms. In this role, Mr. Carr advised ownership groups and their respective portfolio companies throughout the IPO process and subsequent equity transactions. While at Solebury Capital, Mr. Carr executed 70+ transactions for over $29bn in proceeds across a range of sectors, with a focus on Consumer, Retail, Restaurants and Technology. Some of Mr. Carr’s relevant transactions included offerings for Party City, The Habit Burger, Boot Barn, The Acushnet Company and Burlington Stores.
Mr. Carr is originally from Philadelphia, PA and received a B.A. in Economics from Lehigh University. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
