Mike is a Project Manager at Pegasus Asset Management, where he works closely with asset and portfolio management to provide entitlement, permitting and construction management support for all client-owned properties, including tenant improvements, property renovations or repurposing, and ground-up development. He also collaborates with all departments and business lines within Pegasus to provide the client with a seamless array of project management services.
Mike started his development career over 20 years ago, performing site selection, in addition to contract and lease negotiations with tenants/owners for national tenants such as Walgreens, CVS, Chipotle, The Habit, Starbucks, IKEA, Family Dollar and Jiffy Lube. In addition, he oversaw the entitlement process, permitting and construction management for a vast array of projects. His development experience is geographically diverse, having worked extensively in the Southeastern U.S. (Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee), Arizona, California, and Oregon.
The foundation of his success in these diverse areas is his ability to vet the most qualified local consultants and general contractors for the best fit and experience level for the assigned project. He also aids in evaluating the local market to help the client find opportunities to maximize their property’s value. Wherever the client's assets need professional attention, Mike will formulate a strategy, a plan of action, and then execute to the highest degree with consistent client communication and accountability during the process.
Mike has a BS in Finance from Florida State University.
